Welcome Aboard Thomas Cook’s Alpine Wonders Tour. Arrive into exciting Vienna - the Austrian Capital. Guided city tour of Vienna.

Today you embark on your exciting tour when you arrive into Vienna. On arrival at the airport, proceed to your hotel on your own and check in (check-in time after 1400 hrs - please reconfirm with your travel agent for exact timings and details about your tour, hotels and meeting place with the Tour Manager). Later, join an experienced local guide for an amazing tour of Vienna. Your tour begins with a visit to the Innere Stadt - the Inner city with it’s numerous pedestrian streets. Pass the magnificent Opera House. See the Rathaus, St. Stephen’s Church and many more interesting monuments. The grandeur of this city comes alive as you pass by the Hofburg and Belvedere Palaces. Tonight enjoy a delicious Indian dinner. Overnight at Hotel Novotel Wien West or similar, in Vienna.

Do Re Mi - Visit the musical city of Salzburg. A city in the foothills of the Austrian Alps.

After a buffet breakfast, board your coach and drive across green Austrian farmland to Salzburg, a city home to the master musician Mozart as well as the setting of the ever popular musical “The Sound of Music”. After a delicious Indian lunch, join an experienced local guide for a tour of this beautiful city. Visit the splendid Mirabell Gardens, laid out in the 18th century and also where Maria and the children were seen singing the unforgettable ‘Do Re Mi’ dancing around the statue of Pegaus, the winged horse. See the Trapp family home, the Leopoldskron Lake and the Mondsee Cathedral where Maria and the Baron got married. Sing along as you fall in love with this picturesque city. Onto Germany! Munich - the capital of Bavaria. Visit the Mercedes - Benz Museum. Proceed to the breathtaking Black Forest.

After a buffet breakfast, sit back in your coach as we drive to Munich one of Europe's liveliest places. On arrival, proceed on a guided city tour of this charming city. See the Olympic Stadium, 1,000-foot-high Television Tower, Marienplatz with the Old and New Town Hall, and the Gothic Frauenkirche. After an Indian lunch, drive to Stuttgart, where you visit the Mercedes - Benz Museum. Later, drive through the scenic Schwarzwald area into the black forest region of Germany, surrounded by dark fir forests, fairy-tale woods and flowering meadows. After a buffet breakfast, this morning, visit ‘Drubba’ the home of the world famous cuckoo clock. Shop for the clock of your choice and watch how it’s made. Take a stroll, as you soak in the beauty of the picturesque town. Next, sit back in your coach and relax as we drive to Switzerland. Proceed to Schaffhausen to view the magnificent Rhine Falls - the largest waterfall in Europe. After an Indian lunch, we drive to Lucerne, where you will have an opportunity to visit the Lion Monument and the Kapell Brucke - wooden bridge. Next, enjoy a cruise on Lake Lucerne. Be captivated by the magnificent scenery, as you soak in the beauty and grandeur of the Alps. Tonight, enjoy a sumptuous Indian dinner. Today join us for an unforgettable Alpine excursion to the wonderful Schilthorn. Also visit Interlaken.

After a buffet breakfast, we take you to visit Mt. Schilthorn, also known as the ‘James Bond’ mountain, named after the famous James Bond film was shot there. Be thrilled, as you ascend this breathtaking mountain by the longest aerial cableway in the Alps. Standing at a height of 2970 meters, you will get a 360 degree alpine view of more than 200 mountain peaks in a spectacular landscape. This afternoon, enjoy a delicious Indian lunch. Later, we visit the charming city of Interlaken, a city nestled between two lakes and surrounded by the splendid Bernese Oberland Mountains. You will also have an opportunity to shop, in Interlaken, for some famous Swiss chocolates and knives. Treasure these wonderful moments as we drive you back to Engelberg. Today morning is at leisure or you have an option of joining us for some fun and excitement as we take you to visit Mt. Titlis with its beautiful scenery and an adventurous ride up the snow-clad Swiss Alps in Rotair - the world’s first revolving cable-car. Next, get set for an inclusive ride up to Mt. Pilatus on board the world’s steepest railway.

After a Continental breakfast at your hotel, the morning is at leisure or you have an option to visit Mt. Titlis. Adventure awaits you in a sensational cable-car ride up to Mt. Titlis. Marvel at the world’s first revolving cable-car ride, a truly once-in-a lifetime experience. Remain spellbound as you ascend the snow-clad mountains. Experience the snow and ice on top of Mt. Titlis, also a chance to ride, ‘Ice Flyer’. At 3,020 meters a breathtaking panorama unfolds. This afternoon hot Indian lunch will be provided. Later, get set for an adventurous ride up to Mt. Pilatus, on board the steepest cogwheel railway in the world - one of the many great experiences on your tour. Be entranced by the snow-covered Alps, glittering blue lakes, and the city of Lucerne, all part of the grand panorama from atop Mt. Pilatus, situated at a height of 2,132 meters above sea level. More of this scenic wonder as you descend down the mountain by romantic gondolas and cableways. We then proceed to Zurich, the financial capital. After a buffet breakfast transfer to the airport (on your own) to board your flight back home. The tour cost does not include cost of airfare, visas and overseas medical insurance.
You need to be in possession of valid visas, confirmed air ticket and overseas travel insurance.

Indian Lunches and Dinners are pre set and a - la carte is not possible.
Breakfast will be continental buffet which includes tea, coffee, cereal, juice, bread, butter, hot eggs & fruits
Indian lunches are vegetarian lunches.
Any damages caused to the hotel rooms / Coach during your stay, shall be payable by the passengers. Thomas Cook will not be liable for the same.
The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, breakdown or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expense must be borne by the passengers. Insurance policies must be carried while on tour
The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in schedules of train, flight, bus, ship or other services.
Due to major international events such as the Air Show, World Athletic Meet, and major trade fairs all over Europe, the hotels may be blocked out more than 2 years in advance. In view of this, you may have to stay in hotels further away from the cities and the itineraries may have to be altered / amended.
We also reserve the right to substitute a hotel of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary.

We reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised.
For the convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the itinerary. However all the services will remain the same.
There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing etc. not utilized in your tour.
