ITINERARY

 

Day 1

Today your West Coast of USA tour begins. Fly to Los Angeles - "City of Angels”. Visit Hollywood and see the sights of this entertainment capital. See the homes of some of the famous Hollywood actors.

Arrive at Los Angeles and transfer to your conveniently located hotel (on your own). Late this afternoon meet your Tour Manager. Tonight enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the city’s finest Indian restaurants. Overnight in Hotel Holiday Inn/Millennium or similar, in Los Angeles.

 

Day 2

Experience Hollywood first hand at the Universal Studios - The world of movies, magic and illusions.

After either an Indian or American Breakfast get set to become a part of Hollywood magic as you visit Universal Studios, the work place of Hollywood’s biggest and most glamorous stars. Take a memorable Studio Tram Tour and experience the world of illusions. Indulge in “The Universal Experience” as you go behind the scenes of Universal’s film legacy. Travel through time in ‘Back To The Future’, feel the thrills of the worlds scariest 84-ft  drop at the Jurassic Park roller coaster, plunge into total darkness as you face fireballs, scarab beetles, and an army of warrior mummies  on a psychological thrill ride in ‘Revenge Of The Mummy’. See how movie magic is made in ‘Special Effects’ and live through the process of termination in ‘Terminator 2’ in 3D. Pay a visit to the new Simpson’s Ride as you join Homer and his family for a visit to Krustyland! After a day full of adventure and excitement proceed for dinner at an Indian restaurant. Day 3

Drive to Las Vegas - the amazing gambling capital of the world. Enjoy a breathtaking night helicopter flight over the Las Vegas Strip and downtown Glitter Gulch.

After an American Breakfast sit back in your luxurious coach as we drive to Las Vegas - the gambling capital of the world. On arrival check into your hotel. You can explore the grandeur of your own hotel or you can just walk along the Las Vegas Boulevard - the main street. Tonight after sumptuous Indian dinner at one of the best restaurants in the city we take you for a spectacular helicopter ride where you fly over this dazzling city of lights. When you rise above the City of Lights, you will see spectacular views of the dazzling Las Vegas! Millions of lights will dazzle you on this as you cruise past New YorkNew York, Bellagio, Paris, The Venetian, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, the Stratosphere Tower rising into the air and historic Downtown Las Vegas. Day 4

An opportunity to visit the majestic Grand Canyon. Visit the Stratosphere Tower, the tallest observation tower in the United States. Exciting night tour of this city of lights.

After either an Indian or American Breakfast the day is free for you to explore the world’s most exclusive theme hotels and shopping centers on your own. Or, avail of one of the exciting optional tours to the mighty Grand Canyon - A Canyon created by the Colorado River cutting a channel over millions of years and attaining a depth of more than a mile. Get ready to visit the observatory atop the Stratosphere Tower; from here you get amazing views of this city of lights. Be dazzled by the sights as you get a 360 degree view of the Las Vegas Strip and Valley from the circular glass observatory, a view that will leave you enthralled. This evening after a delicious Indian dinner, continue on to your Fremont Street experience for an incredible entertainment and gaming complex in the heart of the most exciting city on earth. Day 5

Fly to San Francisco - ‘the beautiful Bay city’. Today go on a magnificent Bay cruise to experience the unparalleled beauty of the San Francisco Bay. Later see this naturally splendid city on your guided city tour.

After an American Breakfast proceed to the airport for your flight to San Francisco. On arrival proceed to Pier 39, a popular section of Fishermans Wharf to board your spectacular cruise on the San Francisco Bay. Sail past the San Francisco skyline, San Francisco Maritime National Park, sail directly under the Golden Gate Bridge, cruise around the infamous Island of Alcatraz, formerly a maximum security minimum privileges prison. Later join us for a guided tour of this beautiful city. Walk down Lombard Street, the Crookdest Street in the world with 8 curves in one block. See the Civic Center, Union Square, Nob Hill - the hill of the Nawabs, Chinatown - the prettiest in America, the Golden Gate Park - the green lung of the city and Park Presidio. Day 6

Today enjoy a rare opportunity to visit Muir Woods - the redwood forest with the tallest living trees on Earth. Also visit a winery at Napa Valley with a chance to taste world famous wines.

After either an Indian or American Breakfast drive across the Golden Gate Bridge to the pretty town of Sausalito - A Mediterranean style village facing San Francisco Bay to  visit Muir Woods, a 550 acre National Monument that is home to some of the tallest and oldest trees in the world. Follow a lovely creek through a cathedral of tall trees towering 260 feet high and lush landscapes as you feast your eyes on nature’s splendors. Today we also take you to California’s wine region - Napa Valley, to visit a winery where you get an opportunity to taste world famous wines. Later return to San Francisco and enjoy time at leisure to explore the city on your own. You can shop on Market Street or look for good bargains in Chinatown. Tonight enjoy a delicious dinner at a local Indian restaurant. Overnight in Hotel Hilton/ Radisson or similar, in San Francisco.

 

Day 7

Bid farewell to all the friends you made and return home with great memories from this magnificent part of the world.

After an American Breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to the airport (on your own) to board your flight back home. Take back many happy memories of your Thomas Cook tour. Do spare a few minutes of your valuable time and write to tell us how much you enjoyed the tour.

  • Visa Requirements
    • Single-entry USA visa.
  • Important
    • The tour will be operated subject to a minimum of 20 full paying passengers travelling together. In the event that the group size is less than 20 passengers you will be given an option of travelling on another departure date.
  • The tour cost does not include the cost of airfare, visas and overseas medical Insurance.
  • You need to be in possession of valid visa, confirm airticket and overseas travel Insurance
  • The tour price is subject to increase without notice, if any there is increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangement, prior to departure
  • It is advisable to book 35 days prior to the departure date as the internal ticket rate might increase closer to the departure date, resulting in an increase in the Tour cost.
  • The cabin category on the cruise is a standard Oceanview stateroom cabin.
  • Any damage caused to the hotel rooms or coach during your stay shall be payable by the passengers. Thomas Cook will not be liable for the same.
  • The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in the schedule of trains, flights, coach, cruise or other services.
  • We reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure; excursions advertised or substitute a hotel of similar class if deemed necessary.
  • For the convenience of our passengers we will sometimes amend the itinerary. However all services will remain the same.
  • The company reserves the right to alter the order of the itinerary. The same will be informed to the client before departure.
  • Due to Trade Fairs and conventions in the cities, it is possible that the hotel accommodation provided would be outside the city. The same will be informed in advance.
  • The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, delay, breakdown or irregularity which may occur in carrying out of the tour arrangement (management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses due to delay or changes in train, plane, bus, ship or other services, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expenses must be borne by the passenger).

    • Any expenses of personal nature such as porterage at the airports, cruise, laundry, wines, mineral water, and food and drink not in the regular menus provided by us, mini bar, and telephone calls.
