How to Reach arusha

By Air

Arusha has two airports, the Kilimanjaro International Airport that has regular flights to Amsterdam, Nairobi, Zanzibar and other locations. This airport is located at a distance of roughly 60 kms away from the city center. After arriving, you might have to take a taxi. The other airport is the Arusha Municipal Airport which is at the outskirts of the city and operates only domestic flights mostly to Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam.

By Train

Arusha can also reached by express coach from Nairobi. There are direct services from Tanga, Lushoto and Mwanza.
