Summer

Typically this country has warm summers and mild winters and when it rains, it happens mostly during the winter. The summers are warm and dry which is the best time to visit because then you are not going to be impeded by the rains. August is the hottest month of the year, but with the breezes coming off the ocean it doesn't get extremely hot. The coldest month of the year is January and it can be even colder than it really is because of the winter rains. The winter rains have a tendency of making the air feel like it is nippier and biting into your bones, but ideally you will be bundled up enough to take the edge off. You should ideally visit during the summer months, but you can also come during the winter depending on what activities you are planning to participate in.
