Hundreds travel to St Moritz every year to see the landmark that was built sometime in the 12th century.
To come to St. Moritz by airplane fly into the tiny airport located in Samedan. You can get to this airport from some of the other major airports, including Geneva, Basel, Zurich and Munich. The city is then only 5 kilometers, or a 20 minute drive from the airport.
If you take the train you need to hop on the train that heads to Chur and then take the RHB train. These trains run every hour and stop directly in St. Moritz.
Depending on what season you are coming in depends on the route you can take. If you are coming in through Switzerland during the winter you can only gain access to the city by the Julierpass. Otherwise, if you are coming in the direction of Klosters or Davos you can avail the cartrain that can be joined by accessing the Vereina Tunnel. If coming from Italy merely drive over the Maloja or the Bernina.
You can take a post bus to the city from either Lugano or Chur.Try to get a reservation and the last bus departs Chur at approximately 11pm.
