Thomas Cook India’s Centre of Learning certified as
‘2012 Top 10 South Asia IATA Authorized Training Center’

 

Mumbai, April 4, 2012: Centre of Learning, the educational wing of Thomas Cook (India) Limited, has been recognised as a Top 10 South Asia International Air Transport Association (IATA) Authorized Training Centre for 2012. This certification is recognition of its outstanding contribution in developing human capital by reaching out to the next generation of leaders in the evolving tourism industry in India. Recent programmes introduced by the Centre of Learning include a mentorship program in association with the prestigious Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM). The 2 year International Tourism Business Course offers dual specializations and includes case based learning and exposure to International business environment. The training institute also provides a wide array of IATA under graduate and post graduate courses.

 

In keeping with its vision, the Centre of Learning organizes a wide range of workshops, corporate and destination training programmes. The institute recently partnered with IRCTC Western zone for its soft skills training needs. Centre of Learning has also partnered with various Tourism Boards including Swiss, Czech, Canada and Egypt to conduct training sessions for travel agents across the country.
