At CNBC Awaaz Travel Awards ‘08
Thomas Cook (India) Limited country’s leading travel and travel related financial services Solutions Company was awarded the ‘Best Tour Operator Award’ at the CNBC Awaaz Travel Awards 2008. The CNBC AWAAZ Travel Awards were based on an exhaustive consumer response study, conducted across 12 cities with over 2000 consumers voting for their choice of travel services and destinations.The award which proved as a definitive benchmark for the Travel & Tourism industry had Honorable Minister of Culture & Tourism - Ms. Ambika Soni felicitate the winner in Mumbai on Friday, July 3, 2008. Amongst the other companies there were also nominated in this category were SOTC, Raj Tours, Make my trip.com and India Tourism.
