2. Traveler’s cheques:
As the name suggests, these are cheques that come in various denominations and currencies which can be used and are widely recognized around the globe. They can be bought for set amounts and are exchanged for goods and services. They are not linked to the traveler’s bank account, thus saving the worry of theft. Moreover, they can readily be replaced if lost or stolen. The most common institutions that issue traveler’s cheques are American Express, Visa and AAA.
3. Forex Travel Card:
Forex cards are loaded with foreign currency which can be used in different countries, making transactions easier. It works as a debit card and is globally accepted. They allow you to freeze specific exchange rates when you load money into them. Forex cards are provided by different Banks such as Axis Bank and HDFC Bank.

4. Cash:
Other than carrying money in different cards, cash is always an option for quick payments. However, it is advisable to not carry a lot of cash all together as it may be difficult to handle and there is always the risk of threat. But having cash as a backup for emergencies is a must.
