As the festival is celebrated 40 days before the Lent, the carnival is high on energy with an army of dancers. They are accompanied by brilliantly coloured floats which are beautifully decorated with flowers. The Goa Carnival translates the mood of every merry-maker through its parades, colourful masks and delicious cuisine.
