To learn about the culture and heritage of Lachen as well as Sikkim, you can visit the local museums of Lachen. Besides museums, there are a number of caves in the mountain sides. These caves are considered as rich religious places and also known as places of pilgrimage. It is a local belief that Guru Rimpoche and Lhatsun Chenpo meditated in these caves. But many of these caves are in the remote places and you need to go for some serious trek in order to reach them.
