There aren't any clubs or places to dance here, but you can still experience dancing if you participate in the cultural shows and events. The locals of the area engage in different traditional dances that they organise for the tourists.

 

There aren't any flea markets in the area, but there is a huge variety of smaller stores that sell everything you could want in terms of souvenirs. You can buy postcards, maps and even clothes. However, make sure to bargain because the shopkeepers might quote higher prices.

There aren't any department stores and you should try to bring everything you need with you or else you will have to make a trip into Siliguri or Gangtok. However, there are many smaller stores in the area that might have what you are looking for, if you look hard enough.

 

This is one of the best places in the area to buy mementos and different types of souvenirs. You can even find a huge variety of Thangka's from Tibet here which are all hand-made.
