How to Reach england

How to Reach By Air

While there are numerous international airports in England, you’re mostly likely to land in Heathrow, the third busiest airport in the world. Heathrow is a vast airport that caters to flights from all countries, so finding a direct flight to London from India should not be challenging. You’ll find available flights on all major carriers like British Airways, Air India, Virgin Atlantic, Kuwait Airways, Qatar Airways, LOT, IndiGo, Emirates, Lufthansa and more. It typically takes between 9-10 hours to reach London from India, however, this can vary with different carriers and routes that incorporate stops along the way.

In order to enter England, you need a UK visa. A Standard Visitor Visa is all you need if you’re only planning to travel here and you must apply for the same atleast 3 months before your travel dates. With this visa, you can stay in the UK for up to 6 months. It costs € 95 to get this visa and you can re-enter the country provided you do so within the 6 month validity period.

Apart from Heathrow, there are a few other international airports in England. These include:

  • Manchester International
  • Liverpool John Lennon
  • Humberside International
  • Birmingham international
