This architectural brilliance by Santiago Calatrava Valls, situated in Santa Cruz de Tenerife was inaugurated in the year 2003. This Arts Complex is a massive auditorium and is a great place to visit in Santa Cruz. This building speaks highly about the Spanish architecture and it occupies an area of 6,471 square meters, divided into two chambers. The main hall named Symphony has a seating capacity of 1616 people and crowned by a dome. This amphitheatre is different from the traditional ones and hence surrounds the listeners with sound. It even has a smaller chamber hall that is a smaller replica of the larger amphitheatre having seating capacity of 422. This building is popular for its great ‘arc’ and the tip of the arc appears suspended in air, defying gravity.


This water park in Tenerife is located in Costa Adeje on the TF1 highway. Inaugurated by the Royal highness it spreads over 46 acres and was constructed at a budget of 52 million Euros. The park is based on Thai theme and has statues of Lord Buddha. The restaurants serve Thai food and there is a Thai floating market in this park. It truly is one of the best water amusements parks around the globe and holds world records for having the biggest dragon statue in the world. It also has the biggest man created wave in the world that raises about 3 meters and it contains the maximum diversities of slides in the world. Siam Park holds the record of having the largest number of Thai buildings in the world outside Asia.


Situated on the outskirts of Puerto de la Cruz this animal park was formerly built for parrots. This 33 acres park has over 4000 parrots belonging to 350 species and sub species. In addition, it has other attractions like the largest dolphin poll in Europe, the biggest indoor penguin exhibition and the longest shark tunnel in the entire Europe. Loro has animals like tigers, otters, jaguars, gorillas, chimpanzee, iguanas, sea lions, alligators, giant tortoise, exotic fish, pelicans, piranhas, flamingos, orcas, and various types of sharks. Plant lovers can witness very rare plants in its orchid gardens. The parks hosts sea lions, parrots, orca and dolphin shows multiple times in a day and receives a footfall of over 40 million people a year and is loved by kids and adults alike.


This observatory is one of the world's greatest observatories and has collection of telescopes all around the world owing to its excellent viewing conditions for astronomical observation.


This theatre in Santa Cruz named after the great writer, poet, and playwright Ángel Guimerá. Built in 1849 and restored in the year 1911.

Avenida Jose Manuel Guimera the most popular of all flea markets held every Sunday. The most popular items shopped here, houses hold goods and clothes. La Ortava is the place to shop for agricultural and dairy products. El Medano market comprises majorly of hippies selling their crafts and trinkets. 


El Corte Ingles is the most popular departmental store in Tenerife Islands and has great collection of cakes and pastries. There are other stores as well.


Los Cristianos Sunday market is famous for its leather goods, ceramics, clothes, paintings, toy. Costa Adeje Market two days a week specializes in clothes, cosmetics, accessories from Armani to Zanetti. Guaza Sunday Market has stalls full of second hand books, clothes, CDs, DVD’s and videos. Alcala this market on Monday sells crafts, costume jewellery, hardware, leather goods, and many more items.
