Warrnambool 150th Anniversary Foundation

To mark the glorious 150th year of this Australian city, a plaque had been placed in 1997.

Warrnambool Soldier’s Memorial

This is a World War I memorial but has later conflicts surrounding it. This memorial consists of a statue of a soldier and an Angel of Peace sculpted from marble rock. The names of the local people involved in the war have been engraved in a wall behind the statues.


It is a very popular fair hosted in Warrnambool every year for kids. Generally it takes place in the month of June and runs for 8 long days! Foundation of Warrnambool

As the name goes, this particular foundation was build to commemorate the foundation of the city of Warrnambool (17th February, 1847), though the monument dedication took place in 1997, as inscribed on its plaque.

Lake Pertobe Adventure Playground

It is a huge playground full of amusement that kids absolutely love! It’s a good place to be around with the whole family.
