There is hardly any eateries available on theBouvet Island which is hardly a surprise given the lack of human populace on the island. If you are travelling to this island, you will have to bring in packaged food and water with you so that you can have them according to your convenience. Even though it is a bit tough at times for the tourists to carry extra stuffs but the serenity of the place will make you forget any sort of trouble. Food is therefore, extremely limited to what is brought in by air or boat, i.e. what the tourists carry along with themselves. The cuisine is also influenced by the nationality of the tour operator and expected guests. This place falls near the Antarctic Peninsula and the packaged food was the majority of the diet.
