The Kaveri River flows not very far from the southern and western edge of the mountain block. The curved side of this mountain has the good forests, which has been started from the bottom to the top of this mountain. So, considering an erosional incident is rising the way up, this might have been a headwork of the excellent river, which joined the Kaveri.
