Amazon Rainforest In Brazil

Brazil is one of the megadiverse counties which house a wide variety of species of birds, animals, and plants. The country’s immense forests are a source of many products. The Amazon rainforest is the world’s most diverse forest that portrays the greatest biological diversity. The savannas support the occupation of cattle rearing on a large scale.   1. One of the most important rivers of Brazil is the Amazon River, which is world’s second longest river. In terms of the volume of water, it is the largest one in the world. The Amazon River basin has more than 1000 tributaries that comprise nearly half of the country’s total area. It has world’s one of the most complex and extensive river system which culminates into eight river basins, all draining into the Atlantic Ocean.
  2. The Chapada Diamantina National Park is a national park in the northeast region of Brazil that spread over 1520 sq. km. This national park is characterized by plenty of hills and valleys. There are several rivers which pass through this region and have resulted in the formation of several caves. Once in these caves, even gold and diamond was traced.
