Situated across Blue Mosque the Istanbul Handicrafts Center sells ceramics, gift items and handicrafts the background of an ancient Medrese. Fine hand painted silk and Anatolian dolls are displayed in a courtyard surrounded by old classrooms. If you go towards Istiklal Caddesi you will find coffee shops, clothing shops, and bookstores.
