Khamir is an umbrella organization, which aims at producing and promoting handicrafts and art of Kutch. Their Kukma centre is the place to be if you want to buy lovely handicraft items in Bhuj. The quaint shop sells a range of products, which primarily includes quality Gujarati clothing, bells, artisan goods, pottery, organic cotton products and so on. It also sells some impeccable woven bags and have only recently started to make these woven bags out of recycled materials such as plastic strips. Here you can also witness the weaving of cloth at their in-house loom.
