The Murudeshwara Fort is situated just behind the Murudeshwara Temple and is also located in a very beautiful and scenic place. This Fort was the main fort of Tipu Sultan and it was renovated again by him later during his reign. Today it stands open to visitors and it is home to the relics and artifacts of the Tipu Sultan era. There are several statues within this fort which are very impressive and the courtyard has a beautiful garden where you can sit and relax and even take some photos to show your friends back at home.
