Seafood In Sweden

The different cultural influence of the region has created the variety of food in Sweden. The local cuisine revolves around the dairy products, different types of soft and warm bread, sweet berries even some fresh fruits. In meat, there is a variety of beef, pork, chicken & seafood. Potatoes are served as the side dish but have a prominent place in the plates with the regular boiled and mashed form. The variety of bread range of different shapes and sizes of grains like wheat, oats, white and dark kinds, the whole grain and also some sour dough’s. They are usually flat in shape and soft in density. The sweetbreads are also available on the palate which has strong use of different spices in them giving a push to the tongue. Butter is the primary fat and the Swedish pastry is world famous.
