This church is also popularly known as Santana by the locals. It is a mesmerizing piece of work. The architecture of this tourist destination is a perfect combination of Indian as well as European designs which makes it both rare as well as unique. It is said that these are an ample number of myths as well as legends associated with this ancient church of Goa. Every year on the 26th of July the church celebrates an event named The Feast which celebrates the Cucumber Feast or the Touceachem Fest.
