The small hill station of Kufri situated at the foothills of the Himalayas remained unknown to the rest of the world till 1819. This is a scenic vacation spot which is away from the noisy life of the city and has some must see places. There are quite a few mesmerizing places near Kufri which offers some wonderful scenarios. Fagu is one such place located 6 kms away from Kufri. The tourist bungalow at the top of the hill overlooking the Giri valley is the major attraction here. Two other places which are located at a close proximity with Kufri are the Indira Tourist Park and the Mahasu Peak from where the ranges of Badrinath and Kedarnath are clearly visible.
