The old lighthouse at the popular Lighthouse Beach is a popular building here at Kovalam. The view of the ocean from atop the light house is simply breathtaking and brilliant for scenic photography. It is located at the southern beach and is a popular landmark within the city. This is one of the oldest lighthouses in Kerala that has been guiding ships into the neighboring Vizhnjam Port for decades. The visiting timing at the lighthouse is from 3 to 5 in the evening.
