Pindari Glacier Trek

Pindari Glacier trek is a 10-day trek that traverses through several remote and enchanting villages, including Loharkhet, Dhakuri, Khati, Diwali, and Phurkiya. The trek is moderately difficult and suits every individual above 15 years of age.

How to reach Pindari Glacier?

Perched at 3,860 meters above sea level Pindari Glacier trek stars are nestled in the Bageshwar district of the Kumaon region in Uttarakhand. The picturesque Pindari trek route starts from the sleepy villages of Loharkhet and ideally ends in Pindari. 

One can board an overnight train to Kathgodam railway station, and catch a cab from there. It takes about 8 to 10 hours to reach the Bageshwar district. Trekkers can ask the driver to drop them off at Loharkhet or Dhakuri. 

The Pindari Glacier trek cost typically costs around INR 16K to 18K approx, depending on the mode of transport used, accommodation and food, trek accessories, and guide fee. If the trekkers are okay with putting up camps and consider taking meals from dhabas, the trek can be covered within 15K.
