My Holiday In Europe With My family Is The Best Holiday Till Date
Table of contents
Travelling to different countries is always a dream for everyone as it gives a break from the daily monotonous life. Allwyn D’souza travelled to Europe along with this family for 7 nights and 8 days, and according to him, this was his best holiday trip till date. Allwyn booked the Europe tour packages to explore all European countries, let’s read out how Thomas Cook helped him make beautiful memories.
1. Paris – Fall in love with Parisian sights
Our Europe for All tour started from Paris where our tour manager, Ankit Walia escorted us at the airport. We had the best time as we started our tour by exploring the Alexander Bridge, Arc de Triumph, Concorde Square, Opera House, Invalides, Champs Elysees and much more. Then we visited the Eiffel Tower and it was best to see the Eiffel tower in the evening. We had an excellent view of the city from the top of the Eiffel tower.
Later, we also visited the world-famous Disneyland Paris and it was full of fun.
Eiffel Tower – A must visit

Disneyland Paris – Full of fun

2. Brussels – Belgium’s Quirky Capital
Our day 3 started with breakfast in Paris and then we started our journey to Brussels, capital of Belgium. After reaching the capital city, we visited Mini Europe, a miniature park showcasing Europe`s famous monuments in a 1:25 scale. The park represents approximately 80 cities and 350 buildings. This place should be on your cards if you visit Brussels anytime. We enjoyed our orientation tour of Brussels which included sightseeing of the Grand Place and the legendary Manneken Pis statue. We had our Indian dinner and stayed overnight in Brussels.

3. Cologne Cathedral – cruise on river Rhine
After being amazed at Brussels, it was time to visit the Cologne Cathedral. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is the best example of Gothic architecture. Later we headed to board cruise on the River Rhine. While travelling on the cruise we also witnessed the vineyards and it was a delight to our eyes.

4. Heidelberg, a German town and Rhine Falls
Next was orientation tour of Heidelberg. Later we headed towards the Black Forest which is surrounded by dark fir forests and is one of most beautiful regions in Germany. Then we started moving to Switzerland and it was the best road journey I had ever experienced. The view of snow-clapped mountains isjust unbelievable. We reached Schaffhausen and enjoyed the mesmerizing view of Rhine Fall.

5. Jungfraujoch and Interlaken
Our next destination was Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe. To reach Jungfraujoch, we headed to Lauterbrunnen/Grindelwald Grund. The cogwheel train will take you Jungfraujoch which is at a height of 3,454 metres and is the Europe’s highest railway station. We also took a high speed elevator to Sphinx observatory deck. One should not miss to visit the Ice Palace. Later, we witnessed the beauty of Interlaken which is nestled between two lakes. Switzerland is a perfect place for snow and adventure lovers.

6. Mt.Titlis – Orientation tour of Lucerne
This was the place I always wishes to see, Mt. Titlis. Visiting Mt. Titlis and Lucerne was lifetime experience. We also experienced the rotating cable car ride, Rotair, which takes you through the snow-covered mountains and you reach the Mt. Titlis. We also enjoyed the view from Cliff Walk which is 3,041 metres above the sea level. Later, we headed towards beautiful Lucerne where we saw Lion monument and the Kapell Brucke wooden bridge.

We are really thankful to Thomas Cook for organizing such an amazing trip. Our tour manager, Ankit Walia was a gem of the person and also a knowledgeable one. He answered all the questions we had about the places. Now, we have number of memories which we can cherish for lifetime.
