A trip to Rajasthan is akin to romancing the bygone era of the Rajputs and the royals. This land of fabulous palaces and large stretches of deserts is a compelling force to reckon with in the Indian tourism industry. Rajasthan – A Date with Royalty
A trip to Rajasthan is all about regaling the royals and experiencing the royal lifestyle. The cities of Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Chittorgarh, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Kota and Udaipur all contribute largely to the booming Rajasthan tourism. Jaisamand Lake, Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary (a globally important reserve), Mount Abu, Ranthambhore National Park (one of the most important eco parks in the India), Sariska Reserve and National Park, Sita Mata Wildlife Sanctuary, Bamnera and Alwar are some of the other destinations frequented by tourists while on a vacation in this north-western state.
Make it a point to visit Amber Fort in Jaipur, Camel fair in Pushkar, and the Chittorgarh Fort. The Desert landscape in Jaisalmer is also an attraction. Jal Mahal in Jaipur, the Pink City of Jaipur, Umaid Bhawan in Jodhpur, Khejarla Fort in Jodhpur and the Wildlife Sanctuary are other attractions.
