How to visit Kanha
Air: Kanha National Park location is closest from Jabalpur. The airport is located at a distance of 170 km and it takes around 4 hours to reach the forest area.
Apart from Jabalpur, Raipur airport is also a good option to visit Kanha National Park via flight. The airport has a better connectivity from major airports of the world and it takes about 5 hours to reach the Kanha National Park booking counter.
One can also take a flight till Nagpur and then continue with the road journey. Most Kanha National Park resorts provide a pickup and drop to all the airports.
Train: Jabalpur is the nearest and the most convenient railway station to visit Kanha. It is connected with major stations of India and a short journey takes you all the way to the national park. If you have booked one of the Kanha Resorts in advance then you can also contact them for a pickup service as it is safe and secure.
For the travellers coming from Mumbai, a better and convenient option to reach Kanha is by stopping at Gondia. Kanha National Park’s Location is just 3 hour away from here.
Road: Being one of the popular tourist spots of Madhya Pradesh Tourism, Kanha is well connected with via road. Important places of interest, including, Jabalpur (170 Km), Khajuraho (445 Km), Nagpur (270 Km) and Raipur (219 Km) provide easy access to Kanha.
Kisli Gate is accessible via Jabalpur while the Mukki Gate can be reached through Nagpur via Gondia. Regular bus and cab services are available from all important points. Most of the Kanha Resorts also provide the facility of pick and drop.
Taking a private car from airport or railway station is always suggested because the buses in Madhya Pradesh are unreliable and often late.

Buffer / Peripheral zones – INR 1250
