1. Phra Nang Beach

You can have a fun-time at the beach or you can take a guided trek up the cliff.
2. Patong Beach

The largest and most happening of the Phuket beaches, Patong Beach is often referred to as the party capital of Phuket. The long coastline laced soft white sand and the warm water will definitely entice you. If you love water sports then you should go jet skiing and parasailing here. The bustling area around the beach is home to nightclubs, restaurants, bars and shopping stores. Hence, Patong beach is considered as one of the best beaches in Thailand.

3. Railay Beach

A holiday at Railay Beach isn’t as much about the activities as it is about the beach itself. After you get to the beach in a boat, you will be mesmerised by the clear blue waters, majestic cliffs, and the cluster of islands. It’s a beach with a desert-like feel. You can simply sit back and admire the natural beauty or go rock climbing, swimming or snorkelling.
4. Maya Bay

Have you been fascinated by the beautiful little beach in the midst of tall limestone cliffs while watching Leonardo DiCaprio’s ‘The Beach’? Well, you can experience all the fun yourself at Maya Bay. Part of the Phi Phi Leh National Park, you would need to pay the park entry fee to access this entire area. It is best to take a boat ride in the morning to get there and leave by evening since there is no accommodation in the area.
5. Jomtien Beach

You may have come to Pattaya for its buzzing nightlife, but this beautiful Pattaya beach is sure to surprise you. One can have a laid-back beach holiday on this sun-kissed beach in the midst of palm trees or pamper yourself with a traditional Thai massage. You can also enjoy swimming, diving, windsurfing, kite boarding or go catamaran sailing here.

6. Hua Hin Beach

While there are quite a few beaches in Bangkok, none can beat the royalty of Hua Hin Beach that is located on its outskirts. While the beach was once a royal getaway for King Rama VII, it is now a popular tourist destination. You can have a lot of fun playing in the water here with the kids. Nearby you can see the Klai Kangwon Palace which is used by Thai royalty even today. The beach area is home to a large number of golf courses as well.

7. Lamai Beach

The exotic Lamai Beach in Samui is one place that offers contrasting experiences. It is a serene white sand beach by day where you can sit back gazing at the waves. During the nights, it transforms into a vibrant party circuit with its scores of bars and restaurants in the area.
8. Haad Rin, Among the best beaches in Thailand

Haad Rin is not just one of the most popular beaches in Thailand but its well-known the world over for its Full Moon Party. The all-night parties of full moon nights is where you can dance to the rocking music, enjoy food and drinks. Besides this, there are parties held all year round on the beach. 9. Kata Beach, Phuket

If the fast-paced beaches are not your thing and you’re looking for serenity, the relaxed Kata beach is where you should head to. The sun-kissed beach with the warm water and gently swaying palm trees makes for a relaxed holiday. It is a great place for surfing during low season. It’s not a good idea to get your children to the beach at this time as the sea can get very rough.
10. Sairee Beach

The sunshine, the sea, grey rock stones and the swaying palm trees – Sairee Beach has a beautifully layered landscape. Despite being just one mile long, it is the largest beach of the picturesque Ko Tao Island. It is very popular for snorkelling and scuba diving. The life here is pretty laid back, but there are quite a few nightclubs and bars where you can party.
