St Francis Church In Kerala

Bearing a European style of architecture, St. Francis Church is one of the most famous churches of Kerala. It is an entirely wooden structure, established in the year 1503. It is constructed by Portuguese Franciscan friars and resembles the Trinity Church in Bangalore. There are several anecdotes of Portuguese and Dutch rulers, in the form of inscriptions that can be found inside the church.
