These Gift Cards can be redeemed to pay for domestic holidays, domestic and international flights and domestic hotels as well.
How do I buy a Gift Card?
Gift Card can be bought online on thomascook portal with simple 2 step process. Once you purchase the card it will received instant mail with gift card and pin number. It is a simple and hassle-free process.
What is the validity of Gift Card?
The card is valid for one year from the date of activation. Which implies, once the card is issued it can be used to pay for transactions on Thomas Cook until the value of the card runs out, from the date the card is activated. The card can be redeemed online, on the mobile app.
How can I redeem Gift Card?
The Gift Card can be redeemed online, on the mobile app or at Thomas Cook outlet or kiosk. The card can be used to pay for holidays, hotels and flights and can also be used to make multiple transactions, as long as there is balance in your account.
Can I use the Gift Card to book travel on Mobile App?
Yes, you can use the Gift Card to book travel on the Thomas Cook Mobile App. The app is user-friendly and can be easily downloaded on any Android or Apple phone gadget. You can now book a holiday or make hotel or flight reservation anywhere you are with the simple click of a button. All you need is access to the internet and an exciting destination in mind.
Can I redeem multiple Gift Card in 1 transaction?
Yes, you can redeem up to 3 Gift Card in 1 transaction. So, if you run out of balance on one card, you can use another one to complete your transaction. The cards are valid for a year from the date of activation and can be used as long as they are in validity period with enough balance.
What happens if the transaction amount is lower than the Gift Card amount?
Only the required amount will be deducted. The remaining value can be used for future transactions. This means once you have completed your current transaction you can use the remaining balance to book your next adventure as long as you redeem the cards before its expiration date.
What happens to the Gift Card if I cancel my booking?
If you cancel your bookings, the refund will be credited back to your Gift Card account. This works exactly like it would if you used a credit card or online banking. If for whatever reason, you have to cancel your bookings, the amount, after deducting cancellation charges, will be credited back to your Gift Card account. And you can use the card to make future payments but make sure you keep an eye out for that expiration date.
I had applied for my Gift Card(s), but the transaction failed. The amount has been deducted from the card.
The amount will be charged once only. In case of excess deduction, the overdrawn amount will be refunded within 7-10 working days. In some rare occurrence, should a transaction fail, do not worry. Please get in touch with our customer service agents, and they will happily assist you with your refund.
I booked my Gift Card, but I don’t have/remember the pin.
Pls visit My Bookings section in My Account post login. You will be able to edit your receiver email id and reset/resend the pin. Kindly note that the earlier pin will be invalid once pin is reset.
