Can I redeem multiple Gift Card in 1 transaction?

Yes, you can redeem up to 3 Gift Card in 1 transaction. So, if you run out of balance on one card, you can use another one to complete your transaction. The cards are valid for a year from the date of activation and can be used as long as they are in validity period with enough balance.

What happens if the transaction amount is lower than the Gift Card amount?

Only the required amount will be deducted. The remaining value can be used for future transactions. This means once you have completed your current transaction you can use the remaining balance to book your next adventure as long as you redeem the cards before its expiration date.

What happens to the Gift Card if I cancel my booking?

If you cancel your bookings, the refund will be credited back to your Gift Card account. This works exactly like it would if you used a credit card or online banking. If for whatever reason, you have to cancel your bookings, the amount, after deducting cancellation charges, will be credited back to your Gift Card account. And you can use the card to make future payments but make sure you keep an eye out for that expiration date.

I had applied for my Gift Card(s), but the transaction failed. The amount has been deducted from the card.

The amount will be charged once only. In case of excess deduction, the overdrawn amount will be refunded within 7-10 working days. In some rare occurrence, should a transaction fail, do not worry. Please get in touch with our customer service agents, and they will happily assist you with your refund.

I booked my Gift Card, but I don’t have/remember the pin.

Pls visit My Bookings section in My Account post login. You will be able to edit your receiver email id and reset/resend the pin. Kindly note that the earlier pin will be invalid once pin is reset.

Terms and Conditions
  1. E Gift cards are issued free of cost.
  2. Gift cards are redeemable against Indian Rupee purchases only and are valid for use only in India.
  3. Gift cards can be used/are activated 48 hours post loading of the amount.
  4. The beneficiary of the gift will have to furnish a copy of the PAN card at the time of offline (branch) redemption. For online redemption the PAN number will have to be provided at the time of redemption.
  5. The minimum load on a gift card is INR 1000 and the maximum load is INR 100,000.
  6. Based on RBI & IRDA regulations respectively, purchase of foreign exchange (Personal & Tour Costs) & Travel Insurance services are not allowed through Gift Cards.
  7. Gift cards are valid for a period of 1 year from date of purchase.
    1. The balance value (if any) unused on the Holiday Gift card post its validity period (12 months from date of issue) is strictly non-refundable. The recipient of the Holiday Gift card is advised to exhaust the balance value in the card before the validity period and that Company or TCIL shall be under no liability or obligation to refund the value or extend the card beyond the validity period. Thus, no request for extension, refund or value set off will be entertained under any circumstances, after 12 months from the date of issue of the card except if the same expressly permitted in the terms and conditions herein.
    2. With respect to the Holiday Gift card whose validity (12 months from date of issue) has expired, then the recipient of the Holiday Gift Card may request the Company or TCIL within fifteen days from the date of expiry of the validity of the Holiday Gift Card for extension of the validity period for a maximum period of six(6) months from the date of its expiry in writing provided the recipient of the Gift Card opts to redeem or set off the value of the Gift Card against a Holiday package (except standalone flights or hotels). However, this extension of validity shall be subject to the sole discretion of the Company or TCIL and the decision of the Company or TCIL shall be binding upon the recipient who shall accept the same without any protest, question or challenge. The extension of validity of Holiday Gift Card if sought only for the purpose of redeeming or set off from the value of the Holiday Gift card against the Holiday Package booked on may be granted by the Company or TCIL for a limited period of six months and not beyond and for no other purposes and under any other circumstances would the validity of the Holiday Gift Card be extended. In case the recipient for whatever reason fails to use the Holiday Gift Card to redeem or set off its value against the Holiday Package within the extended validity period of six(6) months, then the Card would stand expired on the extended validity period and shall under no circumstances would it be further extended and the Company or TCIL shall be under no liability or obligation to refund the value, further extend the validity period or set off or redeem the Holiday Gift Card on the date of expiry of the extended validity period and the said Holiday Gift Card shall automatically stand cancelled on the date of extended validity period

  10. Offers/discounts on Gift Cards purchased cannot be clubbed with any other discount/incentive program/scheme offered by Thomas Cook (India) Ltd at any point.
  11. Buyer and/or Giftee should ensure safety of the Gift card at all times. If the Gift card is lost or stolen, duplicate/replacement Gift card will not be issued nor will any loaded value on the lost Gift card be reimbursed.
  12. Thomas Cook (India) Limited shall not be liable and responsible for any unauthorized and/or fraudulent purchase/s made using the Gift card. No duplicate Gift card will be issued.
  13. The holder of the Gift card shall be solely responsible for the safe custody of the Gift card and the credentials mentioned on it.
  14. Thomas Cook (India) Limited reserves the right to amend the terms & conditions governing the Gift card at their discretion, at any time, without prior notice.
  15. Any legal disputes are to be referred to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai only.
