This architectural brilliance by Santiago Calatrava Valls, situated in Santa Cruz de Tenerife was inaugurated in the year 2003. This Arts Complex is a massive auditorium and is a great place to visit in Santa Cruz. This building speaks highly about the Spanish architecture and it occupies an area of 6,471 square meters, divided into two chambers. The main hall named Symphony has a seating capacity of 1616 people and crowned by a dome. This amphitheatre is different from the traditional ones and hence surrounds the listeners with sound. It even has a smaller chamber hall that is a smaller replica of the larger amphitheatre having seating capacity of 422. This building is popular for its great ‘arc’ and the tip of the arc appears suspended in air, defying gravity.
