The mere fact that this festival has been called the “Carnaval des Carnavals” tells us of the magnitude of this carnival. Termed as one of the biggest carnivals of Sychelles attracting participants and tourists from around the world it matches its theme of “Bringing the world to Seychelles”. This 3 day euphoric colourful fiesta held in April, draws inspiration from the fact that Seychelles is a ‘melting pot of culture’ and highlights street performances, floats and parades.
