Azzo Cerio and the Centro Caprense Ignazio Cerio
Caprense Ignazio Cerio is known for its historical, natural, and artistic importance .In the year 2000, the place got renovated with new sets of exhibition rooms. There are four halls have been constructed for different purposes.
Archaeology Hall – The hall is in use to display the chronological form with the classic and roman collections that were generally used for decoration of places in Capri. In one word, after visiting this hall, you will get an introduction to the bygone era of Capri.
Paleontology Hall- This hall includes the fossils and rocks collection from ancient times.
Prehistoric and protohistoric hall- The hall depicts the different historical period of the ancient Romans.
Zoology & Botany hall-This botanical section houses more than 500 plant species whereas the zoological section features various number of invertebrates as well as vertebrates species.
