Street Markets In Turkey

The most famous street market in Turkey is the Grand Covered Bazaar. This Bazaar has 65 streets with close to 3300 shops, a mosque, 7 fountains and 21 inns. The shops located from Kapalicarsi Caddesi to Nuruosmaniye entrance are worth visiting. If you are an expert at bargaining then Arasta Bazaar and Avrupa Pasajiin Beyoglu`s Balikpazari (Inebolu - a Sunday market) are good places for shopping. Egyptian Spice Bazaar is a good place to shop for Eastern spices. Çar?amba is open on Wednesdays.

This market is useful for buying fruits, vegetables, eggs, meat, gadgets, branded clothing and stilettos at very affordable prices. Ye?ilköy market provides high-quality products. Sahaflar is old booksellers' market in Beyazit where you will find books in abundance. There is no other place in Turkey where you could find books in abundance. Bakirköy and Kadiköy are other street markets in Istambul.
