2. What documents are needed to send money abroad to students?
You will need the following documents to send money abroad:
- Self-declaration form regarding the relationship between the remitter and beneficiary
- Government issued ID Card
- PAN Card copy for amounts exceeding USD 25,000
3. How long does it take for the money to reach a student?
Generally speaking, a cash pickup will arrive almost instantly, whereas a bank account transfer may take up to 3 hours. For a more accurate description, please reach out to a Thomas Cook forex executive.
4. How can the student collect the amount?
When you send the money abroad, a unique reference code will be shared with you. The beneficiary will have to provide proper ID proof, along with the given reference code, to successfully collect the amount. Alternatively, the beneficiary can access the amount instantaneously from his online bank account.
