At Iringa there is a Stone Age site which was discovered in 1950s during excavation. It is a proof of prehistoric nomadic hunter gatherers who lived here around the lake area. You get to see the artifacts collected from this place like their tools, fossilized bones etc that are now kept in museum. However the site itself is truly hypnotising due to marvelous rock formations found here.
