This is Japans largest dance festival and men, women and children alike all come out on the streets of Tokushima City to perform beautifully choreographed dances in bright colored outfits. This is a mid-august festival held from12th to 15th August and is also a national holiday in Japan. The Outfits are cotton Kimono's and are paired with straw hats. The celebration is attended by more than a million people from all over the world.
