The Nairobi National Museum was founded in 1920, and established at its present location in 1929. Visitors coming here can get a picture of the history of Nairobi, about the culture the artefacts and how people lived in the old historical days. In the past few days, the museum was undergoing renovation and was re-opened in the year 2008. The enormous stuffed bird collection is a prime attraction of the museum.
