Ikan Sabuko In East Timor

Ikan sabuko is a specialty made of Spanish mackerel mixed with tamarind, basil and capsicum  mostly served with budu (tomato, mint, onion and lime sauce) and batar daan (a side dish). Tapai is a local delicacy made of fermented rice dish having a sweet, sour taste. Caldeirada is generally cooked during celebrations. Coffee is widely available everywhere therefore many coffee drinks are found in many cafes and restaurants.
