The months between June and March are considered to be the best time to visit Ajanta. Monsoon (June to September) and winter (November to February) seasons are the best time to explore Ajanta Caves, as the weather is pleasant enough during this time.
The months of March to May should be avoided as the temperature rises to 37 °C. Then it becomes difficult to explore the caves.
