This city is a good place to visit all year round because of the cooler temperatures than the rest of India. The coolest month of the year is November, while the warmest is April. There are only 3 seasons in this city, i.e. winter, summer and monsoon. Even during the summer the temperatures do not rise that much because the air is dry and there is a relatively low humidity, so sightseeing during the summer is also a possibility. The monsoon starts in June and lasts for a few months and it is entirely possible that the city will be having rain for a few days a time, which makes it one of the worst times for visiting.
The winter can be pleasant during the day, but during the night the temperatures can drop drastically. If you are coming during the winter make sure that you are prepared and bring the right clothing and other required items.
