During summer the region is hot and humid. The temperatures soar to an average of 30 degrees Celsius throughout the day. Not an ideal time to visit the shrine.
The monsoon sees heavy rainfall in the region and the hilly area around the Saptashrungi shrine is particularly prone to landslides. Extra care should be taken while visiting in this season.
The best time visit Saptashrungi is during the winter months in India. The weather is extremely pleasant and natural charm of the region is at its best.
