By Air

The closest airport to Chailis Shimla. Another well-connected airport is in Chandigarh which is connected to almost all the cities in the country.

By Train

The nearest railway station is Kalka. You can take a bus from outside the Kalka station to reach Chail via road. Opt to take the toy train which takes around 5 hours to reach the destination and travels across the gorges and hills making your travel journey perfect

By Road

Located at the Kalka-Shimla Highway, Chail is well connected by road with Shimla, Chandigarh and Delhi. Bus services to Chail are regular from Shimla, Chandigarh and Delhi. One point to note is that the road does get disrupted during the winter months.
