By Air

Travellers willing to travel by air have to reach to the proposed Kandy Airport, which belongs to the nearby Kundasale area and forms a direct connection towards the international airport of Bandaranaike in the city of Colombo.

By Rail

If you want to visit the city via rail or train, you have to cross through Matale Line that belongs to the Sri Lanka Railways. This line is responsible for connecting Kandy via Matale and Peradeniya. In addition, the railway track is responsible for connecting towards the Main Line linking Badulla and Colombo.
