Again, since the state is at the heart of the country, it has a wide and well developed roqad network that allows free and convenient access to and from Madhya Pradesh. The state’s borders touch five different states of Uttar Pradesh, Gujrat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Chattisgarh. All of these regions have good road network that connect various cities and towns of MP to them. The national highways connecting other states too have passage through Madhya Pradesh which again makes the state extremely accessible from a lot of different regions across India.
You can reach many parts of Madhya Pradesh through roads running from places like Agra, Jaipur, Ajanta, Ellora, Mount Abu, Tadoba National Park, Jaipur, Raipur, Chambal Sanctuary, Ahmedabad, Chittorgarh, Lucknow, Varanasi, Ranthambore, Vishakhapattnam, Udaipur etc. Road network from these and many more cities and towns of India offer smooth connectivity to several MP cities like Bhopal, Khajuraho, Agra, Delhi, Indore, Gwalior, Varanasi, Jabalpur etc.
There are many government and privately owned buses which offer inter-state and intra-state road transport services which are both cheap and convenient. Although these are time consuming. Apart from buses, you can also opt for car rental services to travel across or to and from these destinations.
