How to Reach bariloche

By Sea

Boats are also an alternative to reaching Bariloche. They cross through several lakes and is linked by short bus rides. This takes one whole day.

By Air

There is one airport, San Carlos de Bariloche International Airport. Flights only from Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Cordoba fly in to this airport. Since there are a limited number of flights coming in, the tickets prices can sky rocket if you book late. So it is advisable to book the tickets a few months prior.

By Rail

There is only 1 train from Viedma which leaves once a week.

By Road

Driving to San Carlos de Bariloche from Buenos Aires is a 22 hour journey. So it is advisable to go to Neuquén on the first day and then continue to Bariloche on the second.
