How to Reach whistler

By Air

The easiest way to get to Whistler is to take a flight into Vancouver Airport and from there you can travel the 2 1/2 hours to get to the city. If you want to take a helicopter you can take one from Vancouver that flies directly to the airport in the city. There is also an option to fly in via a floatplane, which takes off from Victoria or Vancouver and flies directly to Whistler. However, the floatplanes and helicopters regularly fly between the 2 cities during the summer.

By Road

There are many different ways to get to Whistler by road, including by personal car, bus, hired cars and even an airport shuttle. There is a bus that comes directly from the Vancouver airport or even from downtown that comes to the city. If you are driving your own car you should travel on Highway 99 to reach. Before you start driving make sure to check the conditions of the roads and determine if it is safe to travel or not, especially if you don't know where you are going.

By Train

There is a train that will bring you from Vancouver and it is called the Whistler Classic Coach Service. The trip will take 3 1/2 hours and you will be able to experience the amazing views as you travel and will be served breakfast as well as lunch.
