June to December

Chiplun has a tropical climate where the summers are hot and humid. Between the months of March and June, the temperature rises up to 37 degrees Celsius. June to September is the monsoon season which sees this region receiving heavy rainfall. However, during this season, Chiplun looks all the more enticing and beautiful. During this season, it is best to visit as rains bring out the real beauty of Chiplun. The Sawatsada Waterfall too can only be seen during this season. The winters are mild and cozy, with the temperature not dropping below 10 degrees Celsius.
