How to Reach colombo

Flying is the most popular way to get to Sri Lanka. Airlines such as Emirates, Qatar, Malaysian Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Jet Airways, Sri Lankan Airlines, Thai Airways among others. These flights usually take off from various destinations in Europe, South Asia and the Far East. Bandaranaike International Airport is the only international airport in the country and is located 32 km or 45 minutes away from the centre of Colombo.

Katunayaka South Railway station has daily trains to Fort, Colombo. Schedules for these trains can be looked up online.
